Winter Leeks
My leeks are nearly all harvested. But they are still producing even now in January. Despite the cold, and despite the snow.

It is January. It is cold. Temperature was -12°C (10°F) last night. And it has been snowing. The garden looks bleak.
November and December is a good time to add some more compost to no dig beds
When I finally found this monster in August, it was over 60 cm (24 in) long and weighed in at 5.4 kg (12 lbs).
Pulled out a carrot recently, and it looked almost human.
The garden at the end of November is still producing.
Beet, with zucchini make for a great veggie patty.
If you are not already enjoying beets, consider to give beets a try.
