Today is the fall (autumnal) equinox in the northern hemisphere.
And it rained again last night dropping 4.5 cm (1.8 in) of rain.
The storm was a northerly, which typically come in fast, hard and with a lot of wind and rain. The storm front moving in almost turns day into night.
