I am announcing a new web site The Verecund Vigneron, specifically dedicated to sustainable viticulture and fine winemaking.
Most new posts related to wine making will now only occur at The Verecund Vigneron. (with occasional re-blogging links here). Being on the specific topic of winemaking, updates and new posts can be more focused and frequent and consistent, starting with the new “This Week in the Vineyard” series. So for those who do not wish to miss out on the fun and adventure related to viticulture and fine wine making in our vineyards and wine cellar click here to start following The Verecund Vigneron.
For those that follow this current blog, don’t despair, here will continue the other topics of life in Hungary such as our ongoing home renovations, gardening, Lavender and Iris farming, and non-viticulture wine making (such as fruit wines), etc.
Why am I doing this? After much consideration I made the decision to spin off the new web site The Verecund Vigneron to allow the more distinct topic of wine making to take its own lead. While equally allowing the more varied, various, and personal daily life topics remain and expand here at stcoemgen.com. Over the next few days, weeks, and months, changes here at stcoemgen.com will further reflect this topic shift. I think both web sites will cater to a different group and thus be more on target to each group and more meaningful for each distinct audience. But of course, if you find both topics interesting feel free to subscribe to and follow both!
