Recent storms blew over a dead tree by our property. I have eyed this tree for some time, wondering if I should trim it for safety reasons, as many branches were over our property and they were a safety risk. The property owners of this tree are one of the “abroad” land owner who seem impossible to contact. So when the tree fell over in a recent storm, on our property, I decided to simply remove it.

I will come back later and remove the remainder of the tree with a chain saw. The manual cross cut saw I have is wonderful, but a bit slow on such thick timber. A chain saw will make quick work of the remaining stump.
