We had our first frost of the year this week. The first was a mild frost of-2°C (28°F) which even many frost sensitive garden plants, such as dill, survived. And a second killing frost of -5°C (23°F) which killed off my last eggplant, and most of my dill still in the garden. It would have been prudent to put the dill under cover. But I really could not since the dill are planted as companion plants for my brussels sprouts, which are currently too tall to cover. But the frost did make for some good photo opportunities.
