As I have mentioned before, I grow lettuce in starter pots and prick them out for further growth and later transplanting into the garden. This year I am growing my lettuce earlier and my tomato and eggplant later. So I am already pricking out lettuce, while still have not even sown any tomatoes. I have sown six varieties of lettuce this year. Each having different textures and colors. They should make for colorful and tasty salad bags.
