Getting some snow is part of winter in my garden.

Snow covers everything. So the first thing to do after a snow storm is dust it off the low tunnels.

I do not put all plants under low tunnels. As some can tolerate some snow without needing protection. Their largest risk is having leaves and stems broken off by the weight of the snow. Garlic is one winter crop that seems to have little issues with our typical amount of winter snow fall.
