In May I wrote about my trial of extreme intercropping of peppers and lettuce in a vineyard. The lettuce did well. And bolted in June, leaving the peppers to be the dominate under vine canopy vegetable. The peppers also have done very well. as the below photos attest.

These peppers are Hungarian Dracula mild hot peppers and Hungarian Kecskeszarv mild peppers
