Our almond trees are blooming now, in February. A bit early.

But of more concern, I also noticed there is not the typical hum of bees I normally hear around the almond trees when they bloom.

It is still too cold and too wet for bees. And without bees to pollinate our almonds, I wonder if we will have any almonds this fall. Only time will tell.
