Vines can live decades and can develop some interesting shapes depending on their training or, more likely, lack of training. One vine in one of my vineyards came particularly twisted with the vineyard. I could cut the main branch, just before it starts to go twisted, and retrain it straight. But I actually like it, just the way it is. An accidental work of art.
