Harvested the very last of the remaining summer tomato stranglers today. Enough to make a soup. The easy to copy recipe follows:
Last of the summer tomatoes, red and green, diced.
A bit of tomato paste.
Added water, white wine, and a bit of chopped celery.
Added a bit of salt, pepper, oregano, basil and garlic.
After boiling for a while, the mix was blended.
More boiling, then added a bit of angel hair pasta.
When fully cooked, served with some sour cream and toast.
