Autumn Buckets of Tomatoes

As stated before, it has been a weird year. Especially for tomatoes.

Normally I get my largest harvest of my determinate tomatoes in August. But this year it has been in October. Yes. October. I have never had such a late harvest.

But the harvest was amazing. From only 12 tomato plants (determinate and indeterminate), I was getting buckets (about 12 liters) of tomatoes every few days. And that continued through October. The later in October we got, the more green tomatoes I had. But that is okay, as fried green tomatoes is not just a film, it is a very tasty dish. As is green tomato pie.
